I am an Iowa native and a graduate of the University of Iowa. Along with my husband and our three children, I have called North Liberty home for over a decade. I currently serve as the program supervisor for Special and Underserved Populations with the City of Iowa City and was previously a site director for Neighborhood Centers of Johnson County. I am a change agent and advocate for youth and families, and I work hard both personally and professionally to provide opportunities for all.

I have successfully created, planned and implemented many of the programs that are still being utilized in our community and surrounding areas today. I actively seek ways of bringing together residents of diverse cultures and helping to build stronger relationships with city leaders and the larger community.

I find joy in volunteering at the local schools, my church and in the community. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and learning about different cultures. I am involved in a multitude of local organizations and programs:
